[KATALIST] [Fwd: Introducing Europeana Business Plan 2017]

Dear Maté,

Today we are publishing Europeana Business Plan 2017.

Last week, we shared Europeana 2020 Strategic Update with you and our plans to accelerate our progress and make sure we are doing everything we can to harness the power of our shared culture for positive impact over the next four years. Europeana Business Plan 2017 sets out how we will support the implementation of that Strategic Update over the course of this year.

In 2017 our focus will be on the five key areas connected through our platform: Cultural Heritage Institutions, General Public, Research, Education and Creative Industries. Working closely with them to gain a deeper understanding of their needs we will be better positioned to respond with more targeted products, and faster services.

What will that look like in practice? New thematic collections on Fashion, Photography and Newspapers; an improved aggregation model; support for Cultural Heritage institutions in assessing their impact; engaging campaigns that bring people closer to their shared cultural heritage – these are just a few of the highlights of our work programme for this year. To discover more please take a look at our specially created Slidebean and read the Europeana Business Plan 2017 in full.

Please share Europeana Business Plan 2017 with your own networks and get in touch if you have any questions or would like to discuss it further.

Best,

Harry
