Digital Content Curation Librarian (consultant)

Terms of Reference:
Under the supervision of the Head, Information Management Service (IMS) the consultant will work in close collaboration with the Electronic Resources Librarian and will:
Produce a Monthly Reading List from digital resources to inform ITU personnel about the news and trends related to ITU's topics of interest.
Provide substantial support in reviewing and updating procedures and testing new tools to produce the Monthly Reading Lists.
Define the requirements for an online reference service management system/platform to manage reference requests, preserve and share IMS staff knowledge and responses, and enhance communication with users. Implement the requirements with LibAnswers (Springshare).
Provide support, when and where necessary, to the Library team.
Concrete deliverables:
Smooth and timely production of the Monthly Reading List.
Updated workflow and procedures for producing the Monthly Reading List, incorporating tools and apps to automate and streamline the process where possible.
Online reference service management platform implemented based on agreed requirements.
